On 24 September, the moment will finally arrive. Then the KMSKA will open its doors. There is just a little bit of counting down to do. You can' t wait? Then buy your ticket now. That way you are sure to be able to visit the museum this autumn.
A fine feat of architecture, a collection in top condition and an extensive offering that focuses entirely on experiencing. This is what you can expect. In a brand-new museum building, the KMSKA displays more than 600 works of art. Each work has passed through the hands of a team of restorers. No less than 200 masterpieces have been carefully restored over the years. Not only the new building but also the collection is ready to treat the visitors to an unprecedented experience.
Groups
Sharing wonder: it makes every experience more meaningful. Visit the museum with a guide. Our guides challenge you to look at the collection from a different angle. And to share your impressions and opinions. This way, you will actively experience the works, discover surprising angles and enjoy inspiring encounters with the artists and their stories.
Group bookings will be put on hold for a while. We will start a new wave of group bookings on August 16.
Tickets for opening weekend not yet on sale
We will celebrate the opening with a big party! On 24 and 25 September, we will break out of our museum walls with a free festival in and around the museum. Expect spectacular performances, contemporary and interdisciplinary stages, surprising crossovers and fun workshops for children, youths and families. We are keeping the programme under wraps for the time being. Subscribe to the newsletter and be the first to find out all about the party weekend. The tickets to visit the museum during the opening weekend can be purchased at a later date.
Couldn't get hold of a ticket?
No worries. To give everyone the chance to obtain a ticket, we are not selling all individual tickets at once. Our newsletter and social media will keep you informed about new available tickets.
